Quality Assurance Test Engineer II


Role Description

This job will involve primarily testing software to detect bugs and errors by building test cases for automated and manual testing. You will check whether a product complies with the requirements and test the system using extreme attention to detail, deduction, and sometimes special software.


      • Improve test management strategy based on real-world testing experience.
      • Design and maintain automated and manual test cases and scripts. 
      • Knows how to use deployment and automation tools.
      • Propose any necessary updates or modifications to keep current with modern QA practices.
      • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases to identify regression and new features problems.
      • Attempt to learn the root cause of issues found during testing.
      • Document results of tests for the software development team using established procedures.
      • Work together with the software developers, customer support and product management to enhance and improve programs.  Teamwork is critical. 

Mandatory Skills:

      • Good real-world experience with QA manual and automated testing in one or more of the areas of QA:  Unit/API, UX/UI, Manual functional, Manual Regression.
      • Familiarity with industry stand QA practices and procedures, but must be pragmatic in approach. Results are more important than any particular process.
      • Capable of independent work.
      • Excellent communication skills.
      • Experience creating test automation use cases.
      • Willingness to work with Javascript and/or Python.
      • Experience in testing desktop (as opposed to mobile) applications.
      • Quick learner.

Preferred Skills:

        • Working with Github Actions.
        • Working with Single Page Applications.
        • Scripting with Testim or other Automated UI testing tools.
        • Scripting with Python and/or Javascript Language.
